TINA"My Antics and Comical Ways!"
Hi. I’m Tina. A very long time ago I rode a horse while sitting backwards trying to show off to my friends. After I fell, I died. I was not hurt in the sense of pain because it happened so fast, but I was hurt over my life’s abrupt end. Not yet, I remember saying to myself, but it was done. After my death, I saw how many people’s lives I touched even though I was quite young. I saw my family grieve, but I also saw them smile and laugh when they thought of my antics and comical ways. Of course it’s important that you not do stupid things, but please be willing to do silly things for the sake of laughing, because when you share laughter, you share sunshine!
Love to all my new friends,
MICHAEL"I Don't Know Why, But I'm a Very Lucky Person!"
My name is Michael. I used to work in harbor repair but that’s not why I’m here. I want to reach people today to warn them against their own abuse of words. I don’t mean swear words, I mean insisting that something’s got to happen even though they haven’t got a clue what should happen. It’s easy. Like if you talk about problems long enough, eventually they’ve got to happen. I didn’t realize this until I died and heard myself inside repeatedly saying how sick with worry I was. “I’m sick about it,” I had repeated over and over. Before long - before my natural death should have happened – it came true. I got sick and died. Also, stay away from words of anger or words that destroy. Instead, tell yourself that you are lucky and blessed. Say it often and repeat it to others: “I don’t know why, but I’m a very lucky person.” This is a gift I wanted to share, and hope it helps you out.
Michael
CARL"Without Anything Heavy to Wear!"
I want to let people know that when they die, they need to ask God for help when lifting from their bodies. It’s a funny thing because when you see it on TV or read about it in a book, it seems like it’s quick. But in truth, it happens a little at a time. At first you’re not sure if you’re alive or dead because you can’t quite wake up. Next comes the humming as you start lifting off the bed (or whatever you’re on), but you don’t know that’s what’s happening until you feel that floating feeling. The part where you need God’s help (I found out) is in leaving your body behind. It’s a feeling that is not easy, because a large part of who you think you are is attached to that body. But it’s not anymore. You’re still you, only now you’re without anything heavy to wear. So if you come out of your body in a wave of fear or doubt - like you might if you die from disease or in an operating room - ask God to lift you up. As you feel the upward movement, you will notice there is much, much more in front of you than what’s left of you behind.
Overcome with gladness at being able to help,
MARIE "What You Say to Yourself In the Mirror"
What you say to yourself in the mirror is exactly what you become. If you say, “I’m fat,” then that’s more and more of what you become. If you say to yourself, “I’m a loser,” then that’s the path your life goes down. Please believe me. This is the unfortunate truth. TRY THIS: Say to yourself in the mirror that you are not fat, you are not stupid, and you are not a loser. After you say what you are not, tell yourself what you are. You are beautiful, you are healthy, and you are going into a life that feels like more and more love! This is important because the truth is, you’re the one who has been undermining yourself for too long.
Sending love your way,
FARMER EDDIE"Surrounded By a Handful of Friends"
A tavern seems like a pretty pathetic place to die, but actually it was almost like a second home to me so when I collapsed and had a heart attack there, at least I wasn’t alone. I was surrounded by a handful friends I considered family. It’s hard to know where to begin when you’re given the opportunity to give advice about life, but I guess I’ll narrow it down to live for today. It’s important because the truth is, you never know if you’re going to make it to the next day. So if you have the sense to make today great, you’ll never regret your life.
That’s what I have to say, so thank you.
JOLEEN"Hold Your Head Up High Every Day of Your Life"
I was a girl of fourteen when the train car I was in came unhitched. I was asleep. So when it reversed course on the tracks, I only became aware of it moments before it careened into another train not very far behind our train. Spain is where I lived and still call home though I’m now in the afterlife. Since the accident, I’ve had a great deal of time to think about my life as well as life in general, and want to share some of my ideas about it:
• Don’t let yourself be talked into anything you don’t want to do. It will become a burden.
Always here when you need a friend,
AMY "God's Going to Grant You Your Wish!"
Take time each day to write on a piece of paper the kind of adjectives you would like used to describe who you want to be (i.e. funny, patient, delightful, etc.). This becomes a fun way to give God the real honest-to-goodness idea of who you want to be. Then one night when you least expect it, God’s going to grant you your wish by shifting you into the brightest light there is: LOVE!
I love you all,
ALICE"A Fine Day to Bring Through a Message!"
I died waterskiing a long time ago. I hit the motor with my board, flipped backwards and I got tangled up in the lines. It was over and done with pretty quick, but still I’ve wanted to say how much I truly loved life and today seems a fine day to bring through a message about just that. If you’re a man or woman who wants to see the world, go! For Heaven’s sake, don’t let anything stand in your way. If you’re curious about praying to see if God really hears you, do it. Pray! It makes a difference. (Much more than you know.) And if you want to be a friend to mankind, ask for all things wonderful to come to you. Because if you’re going to help lead mankind into greatness, be willing to see and feel your greatness. That’s all I’ve wanted to say for a long time, and am content now that I’ve had that opportunity.
Always your friend,
BETTY"Really Speak Your Peace!"
It’s a horrible day the day you find out you have terminal cancer. But then, to be truthful, that’s when you also begin to go through some of the most important and meaningful times of your life as you prepare for death. Isn’t that rather sad and ironic? In most cases we say “I love you” more freely, as well as give away prized possessions without strings attached as our time of departure draws nearer. Be willing to see and talk with those who want to visit if you are ill or dying. It is a grand opportunity for each of you to fully open your hearts and really speak your peace. You’ll be glad you did and they will be at peace when it’s their time, too.
With a very full heart,
TRACY"Waking Up In The Light!"
The first thing I noticed after I died was how bright the air around me was. It was as if I had blinked and suddenly was in a place of all light. It’s not like you know you’re going to die when you have a heart attack, at least not for me, because it happened so rapidly I never had a chance to catch my breath. I wanted to come through today to let people know that IF you ask God to help you come home without the pain or frustration of a delayed exit from your body, it can happen. It means coming out quickly and without the drawn-out drama of coming-to and then slipping away for longer and longer periods. It means closing your eyes and waking up in The Light. I’m so glad it happened that way for me and thought you might want that as your option too.
Many happy wishes to each of you,
FRANK"We Can Be of Enormous Help"
It’s been a long time since I was on your side, but I want to wish Happy New Year to all those who know we in spirit are abundant among you to help you with your dreams and wishes. I’ve come through today to bring news! Many of us on my side are willing to come through for you on your side, even if we didn’t know you personally. Believe me, it’s a gift to us to be available for advise - or even to help tip the scales of events in favor of love - so don’t hesitate to ask for our help. I protect members of my immediate family whenever I sense they’re in trouble by pushing quiet thoughts into their minds letting them know “things will be alright.” I can sense they hear me because their eyes change for the better. Ask God to bring to you many guides and teachers. Many! It’s a wonderful thing to have many of us on this side plugging away for you, and that’s what we’ll do when we know you need our help. And believe me, from this side we can be of enormous help! God bless America and all her soldiers, wherever they are. When I was young I was in the service. I was honored to serve America; to protect it for all who believe in freedom and the American way. I sincerely hope I can be in service again, even if from this side. It would be my honor to help, so please ask. Anytime.
Incredibly blessed for this chance to come through –
