Q: Is it important to be a God-fearing person?

A:  For many people, fearing God means knowing God’s will and heeding it.  For them, this is a very important means to knowing God.  For many others, knowing God means opening their eyes to all that is good and wondrous in the world.  This is knowing God too, and is just as important.

If you fear God, perhaps it means you have not opened your eyes to the beauty and love God has waiting for you to find.  Perhaps it means you have put obstacles in your own way so you will hear the voice within you telling you that you’re not enough and must be punished.

But if you believe that God is love - and you specify that you want to know God through your heart - that otherwise demanding and objectionable voice you hear in your head will release and the voice you hear will become one of love and acceptance for all your ways, both bad and good.

gabriel publishing When you do things which you are ashamed of, come to God on you knees and ask for God’s love to pour over you.  As you pray, the softer, more gentler side of God’s pureness will enter into your body not only through your mind but up through your willing knees.  While you have feet that teach you of the ways of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, you have knees that want to quiet your unquiet mind.

God is love.  Always.  Love God.  Always! Fear God only if you separate yourself from God because you will be apart from paradise through your own design and beliefs.

Love and be loved,
gabriel publishing
