NOTE: This question relates to The Secret – the bestselling book and DVD about the law of attraction.

A: The law of attraction is a fundamental universal truth.  It has a beginning and an end unto itself in that it allows what one wishes for to come toward them to be felt; to be welcomed or resisted. 

A universal truth or fact is that millions of people, worldwide, believe they are ready to receive their blessings but deep-down – ‘in secret’ – they also believe they are not truly deserving.  Drowning in sorrow, they exclude many of the riches that God asks them to perceive and receive. 

Let’s take this a bit further.  Perhaps you want a new car.  Let’s say you dream about a particular model and can almost feel yourself behind the wheel.  But no matter what you do, the funds are just not there to make it happen.  What next?  Accept that on some level you have put into place that you do not truly deserve it.  Perhaps you consider it a luxury that you cannot reconcile in good conscience.

IMPORTANT EXERCISE - Begin again fresh and new today:
1) With paper and pencil, write down all the reasons why you do deserve what you want.  (Paper vs. the computer makes it permanent by sealing it in the 3rd dimension.)
2) Write down all the reasons why it is wonderful to receive them.  (This puts you in a grateful frame of mind which makes you more ready to receive it.)
3) Above all, build your share of the bridge to the life you want by praying to Jesus that you become a willing participant and gracious recipient of wisdom.  (This keeps you in his trust to receive even more of his precious gifts of love!)

Live in the light of love knowing that Jesus has accepted that you are not perfect but you are deserving!
