Q: Who are the four horsemen of the apocalypse?

A: For those who believe in Earth’s rebirth - just as they believe in The Second Coming of Jesus Christ - the four horsemen of the apocalypse are the advance men of nature’s own kingdom riding the winds of change.

They demonstrate for all mankind to see that while God’s messages of peace and love are real, they are hollow in too many cases.  For millions, God is about power and revenge rather than forgiveness and healing.  For those who fill these ranks, the period (or precursor) known as the apocalypse is at hand.

The pale horse represents a ghost. It is accompanied by a rider who won’t accept that Christ is alive within him.  This horse is the deadliest of all in that it accepts death over life.  The hooves of this horse demand to have its own way or else ride off in a storm with its rider secure in knowing that it’s right vs. kind.

The red horse represents drugs. It is a menacing beast that alters the way the horseman thinks, feels and even breathes.  It takes the rider out of its mind AND body which allows the horse the freedom to wield havoc wherever it goes.  The horseman here has to depend on the horse for all of its needs, which terrifies the horseman for the horse rambles every which way.

gabriel publishingThe white horse represents the sinister world. Its horseman is clever and devious having taken classes in how to appear cool, calm and collected at all times.  While this horseman demonstrates authority and keen insight, it has nothing up its sleeve except devious plots.  The horseman and his sinister mob plead innocence while preying upon the truly innocent, most especially children.  This rider is dreaded the most for he comes in a clever disguise: that of a holy man.

The black horse represents gases and oils degrading and depleting our precious planet and skies.  Its rider is the corporate executive who works with a consortium of others who place greed, sly enviable profits, and pride above community and country.  This horseman drives the horse right off the cliff without so much as seeing what’s coming.

Forces of grace, compassion, tolerance and forgiveness are the forbearers of Jesus Christ. Not destruction and never death.  And while millions call out Jesus’ name as their Lord and Savior, starvation still exists on Earth.  For those who truly make Jesus their God, the four horsemen serve as a reminder that Earth’s neediest and most vulnerable depend upon their relationship with Christ’s calling to be charitable.

Give from your heart this holiday season. Drive the four horsemen and their team of horses apart from your life by securing that Earth - your home - is Jesus’ home.  He is Christ The King!

Believe and come home,
