Q:  Should the United States pull out of Iraq?

NOTE: As a pacifist I have long held the belief we should pull out of Iraq.  When I intuited this answer (through the Holy Spirit) I was greatly surprised and somewhat taken aback.  For me it serves as a reminder that things are rarely as they seem.

A: The campaign to win the war in Iraq lost valuable momentum after torture at the hands of our own troops was unveiled.  It sent the message to the world that our eyes were no longer focused on releasing Iraq from the hands of tyranny, but otherwise engaged in it.  From that point forward we relinquished the right to call ourselves liberators in the court of world opinion.

At present we are viewed as an occupying force.  However, we offer an important hindrance in the region to deter terrorists who wish to occupy Iraq should our forces pull out.  Even as the U.S. has many allies worldwide, we also have many enemies and increasingly our enemies are engaged in a campaign to reduce President Bush’s influence and drive him from the region.

If they succeed and Bush succumbs, he will unwittingly play into the hands of the Saudi’s who will resume their quiet campaign to encroach upon oil producing nations by laying the groundwork for terrorists to come in and build factions and cells where democracy is viewed as evil.  Saudi Arabia will then secure its calling to become the world’s largest oil producing nation and greatest powerbroker.  Without so much as a blink of the eye, the Saudi’s will bring democracy to its knees.

Oil is the strangling serpent rising up to squeeze those nations without its resource power.  It is the calling card of bad air, bad lungs, and even bad nations.  It seizes the minds of those who see it as gold, while reducing their faculties into believing it is a blessing.  Fog exists where these powerbrokers exist.  Even as they mill around in their fog of disbelief, one day these empires will shamelessly be sent tumbling down.

Believe in the power you have as a witness to the world’s oldest city, Babylon, being redrawn for the purpose of Heaven.  Believe in the Garden of Eden coming back.  If Iraq fulfills its world calling, the Garden of Eden shall be restored and the land of liberty and justice for all shall endure, forevermore.

When your heart breaks reading the casualty numbers in Iraq, believe with all your heart that our forces are providing the essential backdrop for the months ahead as the stage is being set between Heaven and Earth to play out the final chapter in Earth’s unwilling history to see mankind as all one family.  Pray for peace and be saved.

Love and be loved,
