Q: Hard-minded people often seem so confident. How can I become more confident without becoming hard-minded?
A: Building confidence – true confidence – comes from the glory of building experience! It means going out on a limb when you would rather run and hide. It means knowing it’s a lesson learned because it’s about the experience, not the outcome. Knowing your strengths AND weaknesses means knowing yourself inside and out, and this builds true confidence outlasting the test of time! If you are a hard-minded person: While hard-minded people aren’t always heavy-hearted people, they are often filled with shame over their own self-exploitation. Liberate yourself if you have inflated your experiences. Teach yourself the wisdom of saying, “It was a great experience although I was not great at it.” Become truly confident knowing God will then come back into your spirit of love knowing you have the will to face yourself with truth. It’s a lesson learned that Jesus has prayed for you to complete.
Love and be loved –
