Q: Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?

A: There are millions of people asking to do God’s work in their lives yet personally know of catastrophic events. For in their desire to be God’s servants is this not also an opportunity to do God’s work? If mankind has a fear of death, who better to face cancer wards filled with strangers with fear in their eyes than a person of God beaming trust and love from their eyes?

This is the work of Jesus! He asked to be God’s servant on Earth and allow those lessons that needed to be learned to come through him. But instead of having learned lessons through Jesus’ examples, almost always people try to take matters into their own hands. They fear, they worry, they drive anxious cords of desperation into their minds and then feel consumed by the need to control their own lives vs. telling God of their dream to relax and trust God completely.

If you are a servant of God and desire to be set free from guilt, shame, sorrow or doubt, free yourself from the fear that somehow you are lost among the millions of sheep on Earth who know not where they are going. With Jesus at your side you are in a flock of angels for whom God has sent a special life, and you will have enormous advantages sent your way when you surrender to Jesus as your shepherd.

Trust is not a word often used when preaching the gospel, but faith is. Have faith AND trust in God that if you desire to be set free from learning your lessons through adversity, Jesus shall drive free from your body and mind those cords of adversity that once drove you down.

Trust that Jesus has always been by your side when you needed him...but, you have to ask for his leadership and guidance in all situations. When you do, your heart will then beat to the rhythm of his drum, and knowledge shall be reset to wisdom and your life shall be reversed of fears. Try it. Is not peace of mind and your heart’s well being well worth knowing his love?

Love and Light,
