Q: I realize that when I privately counseled someone in the past my response needed to fit within their view of reality. But in this time of great change and with all the assistance we have, can’t we tell the truth? i.e., that Christ did not die on the cross. Maybe we can begin with the question “What if this is not reality? How do we become one with reality?”
A: If ever you see in the eyes of your client, The Holy, you owe them the truth according to your heart, for it is your desire – beyond that which makes sense in this reality plane – to ‘jump-start’ their internal light. If you see The Holy in their eyes, you will recognize a kind of seeking that is without judgment. You will see a kindness and hopefulness that they found you through a process that was important. If, however, you have a client who is there just to ‘test the waters’ with you, you may advise them – from your mind to theirs - not to fear anything. This is important, for although you haven’t put your reality outlook ahead of theirs, you have sought their heart. God lives in all. For those who seek Jesus as their savior, they will see Jesus inside the eyes of all who come toward them. In that way they will, indeed, be able to resurrect life from death, for they have seen that in The Light Christ did NOT die on the cross. Few pass beyond his death scene, however. Most stay stuck on that lower level. But believing in the resurrection of Jesus means that each can believe in the resurrection of all. “What if this is not reality? How do we become one with reality?” Every human being is inside of an equally distinct, cropped-framed picture of reality. No matter who you are, there is a limit to your version of what is possible. Be open to their version of reality as valid as is yours, but perhaps theirs is not as free, as happy or as care-free as yours. (Perhaps yours is just the ticket on the train to freedom that they need!) Love & Light, LYNN SCOTT |
