Q: Years ago I dreamed that my daughter and I were suddenly lifted from our moving car. Months later I stumbled upon, “Left Behind” a best selling novel (now being made into a movie) that describes how millions of Christians will someday vanish leaving behind a cataclysmic Earth. It even describes how cars will careen out of control since their occupants will vanish. I now know what was being described is the rapture, prophesized in the Bible’s book of Revelations. What is the rapture and what does it mean for Christians and non-Christians?

(Note: This is a follow-up to last week’s question.)

Q: The “non-Christians” paragraph* makes it sound like Jesus is the option for being lifted to the higher planes of earth. I do believe you have the loving belief that each individual’s divine connection could come in the form of the God of love we choose or the messenger of God’s love we choose (Buddha, Mohammed, etc) and that this belief can lift us to the higher level. The delineation, division and “one preference” being higher over another has caused endless wars. Could you clarify this?

Q: I pray a lot and believe in God, but it seems as though many of the things I pray about seem so slow in happening. Is there something that I’m not doing to help make the connections happen?
